Day 11: Trekking from Dole to Namche Bazar and stay in Lodge
Day 12: Trek down from Namche to Lukla & overnight in lodge
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
You are welcomed by a hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to the hotel. Our airport representative will briefly explain the program upon arrival. Overnight at the hotel. B.B
Day 02: Trek preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast sightseeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath Temple. Boudhanath Stupa & Patan Durbar Square. Visit Pashupatinath, temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple, which was built in pagoda style, has a gilded roof and beautifully carved silver doors.
Afternoon visit the stupa of Boudhanath located 8 Kms. east of Kathmandu. This ancient colossal stupa is one of the biggest in the world and the centre of Buddhism in the world. It was listed in the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna, built entirely of stone. Overnight stay at Hotel. B.B
Day 03: Kathmandu Lukla - Phakding (2652m) 3 hrs.
Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Lukla. The flight into Lukla is a lifetime experience, in itself. The airfield is on an evaluation and the difference between the two ends of the runway is about 60 meters! Then trek to Phakding 2800m with green landscape & view of Kusum Kangraru. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m) 6 hrs.
After you finished your guide will lead the trail continues north up the Dudh Kosi valley with brilliant views of Thamserku & Kusum Kangraru to the Munzo, just beyond the Munzo you will see huge building of Sagarmatha National Park Entrance Gate, where trekking permits are checked and National Park fees collected, then trek down and cross the Jorsale Bridge, This is the last place to Namche Bazar so we recommended you to have lunch or some snacks! Make sure you have enough water. The trail continues along the Dudh Kosi River after two more brides begin the steep climb up to Namche Bazaar 3441m, the administrative center of the Sagarmatha National Park and the hub of Sherpa society. Day 05: Acclimatization day – Hike to Everest view hotel (3900m) 3-4 hrs.
This is a day for acclimatization, we will hike Syangboche airport 3700m, this is supposed to be the highest airport in the world. Then continue climbing to Mt. Everest view hotel where we have great panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc. On the way back after lunch or before lunch we will have enough time to visit the Sherpa culture museum and Everest photo Gallery. Day 06: Trek to Dole (4200m) 5 hrs.
The trails easy in the beginning up to Kyangjuma & climb steeply out of the valley through rhododendron forests, which give way to fragrant stands of juniper and large conifers as the elevation increases. This trek is especially beautiful in spring when the rhododendrons are blooming. The trails pass many Kharkas, summer settlements used when Sherpas bring herds of yaks to graze in these high pastures. The route passes through the settlements of Tongba (3950m) and Gyele (3960m) to Dole where there are few hotels. The views of Khumbila and Tawache (6542m) are incredible throughout the day!! Day 07: Trek to Machhermo (4400m) 5 hrs.
Trail climbs to Lambara at (4220m) and Luza at (4360m). The tail is steep in most places as it climbs through brush junipers. There're Kharkas whenever there is a flat spot and the slightest hint of water. The trails continue to climb along the side of the valley, high above the river, crossing sandy spurs to Machhermo at (4410m). Here in Machhermo in 1974, Yeti killed three yaks and attacked a Sherpa woman. This is the most credit yeti incident ever reported. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Lake (4700m) 4 hrs.
We will climb a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kantega and up towards Cho-Oyu (8201m). Beyond the ridge the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at (4390m) then descends to the riverbank before beginning to climb on to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier. It's a steep climb up the moraine, switching back alongside the stream to the first small Lake at (4650m), where a family of green Brainy ducks resides. The trail now becomes almost level at (4690m). Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 09: Hike to Gokyo RI (5360m) 4 hrs.
Early wake up and climb up to the Gokyo-Ri, for panoramic view of Mahalangur Himalayan range, it takes approximately 2hrs climb to the top of the peak, providing a panoramic view of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Tawache & a great looking of Ngozumpa glacier a largest glacier in Nepal. Then descend to Gokyo and relax with your Lunch & hot tea. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 10: Trek to Dole (4200m) 5 hrs. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 11: Trek to Namche (3440) 5 hrs. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2800m) 5 hrs. Overnight at the guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu (1310m) 30 min. overnight at a hotel. B.B
Day 14: Final Departure from Nepal to your onward destination
