The Dolpo region is best known for the many isolated high Himalayan valleys across northern Nepal. Dolpo preserves one of the last remnants of traditional Tibetan culture. Legend says it's a one of the "hidden valleys" created by Guru Rinpoche as a refuge for devout Buddhists in troubled times. Surrounded by high mountains including the Dhaulagiri massif to the southeast and cut off by high passes closed by snow half the year, Dolpo's easiest access is from Tibet, where its people emigrated from perhaps 1000 years ago.

Dolpo Trek Located on the isolated corner of Trans Himalayan Zone Dolpo is a virgin and divine land in Mid-Western Nepal. Shey-Phoksundo National Park in the core of Dolpo Region is famous for snow leopards. A great Naturalist Rodney Jackson conducted his research on snow leopards in Shey Phoksundo area. The Dolpo is famous for deepest Lake Phoksundo in the entire Himalayan Region. Mother Nature created a unique and wonderful treasurer like Dolpo, which is being the shelter of many rare alpine living beings. In Spite of tough trails and rugged topography, the journey to Dolpo area is a lifetime experience. Tourists rarely visit Dolpo Region and the trekking route is very narrow and steep at places, so a good hiking Experience is essential for this trek. The altitude ranges from 2500m to 5070m.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu / transfer to hotel / overnight.Lower Dolpo
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Flight ort drive (14 hrs) to Nepalganj
Day 04: Flight Nepalgunj to Juphal trek to Dunai
Day 05: Tarakot [2,543m]
Day 06: Trek to Laini [3,160 m]
Day 07: Trek to Nawarpani [3,545m]
Day 08: Trek to Do Tarap [4,090m]
Day 09: Rest Day at Do Tarap for acclimatization .
Day 10: Trek to Numa La Base Camp [4440m]
Day 11: Cross Numa La [5,190m ]
Day 12: Cross Baga La [5,070m] and camp Dajok Tang [4,080m]
Day 13: Trek to Ringmo (3,600m)
Day 14 :Rest Day at Ringmo for a hike to Phoksundo Lake
Day 15:Trek to Shyanta [2520m]
Day 16: Trek to Jhupal
Day 17: Flight Juphal to Nepalganj -Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 18: Departure to your onward destination.
