Sailung Camping Trek
Early in the morning, drive 3 hrs to Dolakha (Mude) east of Kathmandu. The trek provides some magnificent panoramas of the eastern Nepal Himalaya. This trek in particular provides an opportunity to encounter the realities of harsh mountain life, the area is particularly poor and desperately needs development. There are several ethnic groups living and working in the region.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu / transfer hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive ( 4 hrs ) to Mude Bazaar.
Day 04: Mude Bazaar / Khola Khark.
Day 05: Khola Khark / Dhormba Gompa.
Day 06: Dhormba Gompa / Bag Dhunga.
Day 07: Bag Dhunga / Gurase Bhanjyang.
Day 08: Gurase Bhanjyang / Bholung Village.
Day 09: Bholung Village / Palanchok Temple.
Day 10: From Palanchok / drive ( 3 hrs ) to Kathmandu.
Day 11: Departure for onward destination.
