Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu airport, Our tour manager would be met and received from Airport & transfer to Hotel. After refreshment our tour manager will give you the trip briefing. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu.
After breakfast daylong sightseeing of Kathmandu visit Pashupatinath, temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple, which was built in pagoda style, has a gilded roof and beautifully carved silver doors. Swayambhunath, Located approx. 3km from the center of Kathmandu, this Buddhist stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth which supports a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of gilt copper, Patan, also known as Lalitpur, is a city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas, which are said to have been built in the 3rd century A.D. by Emperor Ashoka. & Durbar square which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna temple built by King Siddi Narsinh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, and Mahaboudha Temple. Evening return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Katmandu –Daman
Early morning after breakfast drive from Kathmandu to Daman. This is definitely a worth visiting place and there is a view tower fitted with long range telescopes. The breathtaking landscapes and superb view of world’s highest peaks gives for the visitors a more exciting tour in Nepal. Overnight at Daman
Day 04: Daman-Janakpur
After Breakfast scenic Drive from Daman to Janakpur. It is also home of the unique Mithila culture in Nepal. First visit the religious and impressive Janaki Mandir, which is one of the biggest temples in Nepal, was built in 1955. It is also known as Nau (nine) Lakh Mandir after the cost of construction. Janakpur is famous as the birth place of Sita, the consort of Lord Ram. Overnight at Janakpur
Day 05: Janakpur
Full day sightseeing trip to Ram Mandir which is the oldest temple in Janakpur, was built by Gorkhali soldier Amar Singh Thapa. There are many interesting places to visit like Vivah Mandap Temple, Dhanush Sagar and Ganga Sagar, Secret Ponds, Ganesh Mandir, Panchamukhi Hanuman Mandir by private car. Overnight at janakpur
Day 06: Janakpur-Ilam
After Breakfast Scenic drive from Janakpur to Ilam. Ilam is a tea-producing town in Nepal. It is famous for its natural sceneries, holy sites, unique culture and pristine landscapes of sloped tea gardens. Visit the pristine holy lake of Mai Pokhari which is worth visiting for nature lovers. Overnight at Ilam.
Day 07: Ilam-Antudanda
After Breakfast Scenic drive to Antu Danda which offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views as well as magnificent Himalayan sceneries. On a clear day one can see views as far as Mirik, Kurseong and Darjeeling in the adjoining Indian part. Then visit the Mai Beni, the temple of Lord Shiva at the confluence of Rivers Mai Khola and Jogma Khola. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 08: Antudanda Sandakpur
Scenic drive to Sandakpur which is Nepal-India border line provides a majestic view of the Himalayas like Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Kumbhakarna, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Everest as well as rare wildlife. One can visit the Sati Devi Temple which is a cultural, religious and magnificent site for the devotees. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 09: Hiking in Ilam
Trek to Siddhi Thumka or Chhintapu which takes about 3 hours from Ilam Bazar. Both are vantage points for sunrise and sunset view as well as natural rich forest of Rhododendron, herbal plants and various bird species. One can see the Terai flatlands, the Mahabharat range and the Churia Mountains. Then drive to Gajur Mukhi where there is a stone tunnel with carved images of Hindu deities. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 10: Ilam
Scenic drive to Kanyam and Fikkal, have large estates for which Ilam has been famous for the last 140 years. These tea plantation areas are popular among tourists for picnicking, sightseeing and taking photographs. The Pathibhara Temple is believed to be the younger sister of Pathibhara Devi in Taplejung. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 11: Ilam-Kathmandu
Drive from Ilam to Kathmandu by private car and transfer to Hotel. Refreshment and relaxation. Dinner with a typical cultural program.
Day 12: Departure
Departure to International Airport according to flight schedule..
